The FIS International Masters circuit returns to the US again! The 2018 Phillips 66 FIS Masters World Criterium were hosted by Northern Division at Big Sky on Mar. 19-24, 2018. The 2018 FIS Masters World Criterium consists of SL, GS, and SG races, along with a 1-run GS on the final day that is part of the FIS Masters Cup series.
FIS international masters competitions are open to racers 30 years or older by Dec. 31, 2017. US competitors must have a current U.S. Ski & Snowboard Masters competition license as well as a FIS Masters license. The FIS masters license can be purchased from U.S. Ski & Snowboard for $30. You can purchase a FIS masters license along with your US Alpine Masters membership.
If you already have your US masters membership for the current season and would like to add a FIS masters license, you can fill out the online FIS Masters application published by Membership Services.

FIS masters require helmets in all disciplines. Minimum ski length and radius are recommendations, except for the minimum length for SG (185cm men, 180cm women). There are no ski restrictions for ladies above 55 and men above 65 years.

Note: FIS Masters Cup competitions are organized with competitors split into several groups by age and gender. The groupings are A (men 30-54, classes 1-5), B (men 55+, classes 6-12), and C (all women).
