Following up on the extremely successful 2012 FIS Masters World Critierum, held in March 2012 at Mammoth Mountain CA and a return visit to Mammoth in February 2013, the International Masters Cup circuit returns to the US again with a 4-race event on Feb. 6-9, 2014 at Park City. Thursday and Friday features two SG races for all groups, followed by a weekend of 2 SL races for each group A/B/C.
The 2014 FIS Masters Cup races will also be the Western Region Championships. Competitors 18-29 are not eligible for FIS Masters results/awards but are eligible for all USSA Western Regionals awards. The overall regional class champion awards will be awarded based on results in all 4 races of the event.
FIS international masters competitions are open to racers 30 years or older by Dec. 31, 2012. US competitors must have a current USSA Masters competition license as well as a FIS Masters license. The FIS license can be purchased from USSA for $30; print out the application form using the link below and mail to the USSA office in Park City.

Entries are due by Feb. 1, 2014 with a confirmation on a FIS entry form from each participating Ski Federation. Fees for race entries, lift tickets, and banquet are listed in the event announcement.

Note: FIS Masters Cup competitions are organized with competitors split into several groups by age and gender. The groupings are A (men 30-54, classes 1-5), B (men 55+, classes 6-12), and C (all women). The SG races were run with all competitors on the same course, starting by group order C, B, and A, while in the SL each group competes on their own course.
