The 2010 Skier's Edge Eastern Regional Championships were hosted by Eastern Division at Okemo Mountain, VT on Mar. 11-14, 2010. Okemo is a popular stop on the Sise Cup tour, featuring long venues, impeccable grooming, free-flowing course sets, and solid race organization. The regional championships are a 4-discipline SC/SG/GS/SL event, with super-combined being added to the event and included in the combined scoring.
This year's event will provide SG training on Thursday, with the championship SG on Friday morning followed by a one-run SL which will be combined with the SG to form the SC event. Saturday's SL races will have separate courses for the A/B and C/D groups, with the grand finale GS wrapping up the chmpionships on Sunday.
Awards parties will be held on Friday and Saturday on the nearby Okemo Golf Course clubhouse, featuring food, video, raffles, and prizes. New this year, the Eastern Championships races will be included in the season-long Sise Cup scoring.
You must have a current USSA Masters competition license to compete in regional and national championship events (no temporary weekend licenses). Entries may be submitted by mail to the Race Secretary at Okemo, or submitted online at the nemasters.org web site.
The detailed event schedule is posted on the masters section of ussa.org and the nemasters.org division web site:

The Eastern Region class championship is awarded to the racer in each age class who accumulates the most world cup points in the four events of the regional championships.
The Additional Reports section includes alternative rankings and groupings of the results that give competitors additional ways to compare themselves with other racers outside their immediate age class. Rankings organized by national group or gender or in the overall rankings of all competitors who were on the same course allows racers to see how they compare against different sets of competitors.
