The 2017 Phillips 66 Western Regionals were hosted by Intermountain Division at Park City on Feb. 3-5, 2017. The 2017 Western Regionals are a 4-race SG/SG/SL/GS event with SG-SL-GS included in the combined scoring for the overall regional class champion awards. The both SG races also count in the 2017 National Speed Series standings.
You must have a current USSA Masters competition license to compete in regional and national championship events. (no short-term licenses) Complete information on entry procedures and fees are published each fall in the 2017 USSA Master's Competition Guide.

Note: The Western Region championship racer were held in conjunction with the FIS Masters Cup competition and organized with competitors split into several groups by age and gender. The groupings are A (men 30-54, FIS masters classes 1-5), B (men 55+, FIS masters classes 6-12), and C (all women). USSA masters classes numbers are one less than the corresponding FIS class, e.g., FIS masters class 1 (30..34) is USSA class 2.

The Western Regionals class championship is awarded to the racer in each age class who accumulates the most world cup points in the four events SG-SG-SL-GS of the championships.
