*SG Notes: With a foot of new snow on Friday forcing cancellation of the scheduled SG race run, the second training run from Thursday was declared as the Western Region championship SG. The second training run had been designated on Thursday as a conditional race, given the windy and snowy conditions already occurring. In the interests of safety so that competitors did not feel pressured to compete in the speed event under difficult conditions, however, the SG is not included in the combined scoring for the overall regional champion in each age class - only the GS and SL events will be scored. The SG is included in the Speed Series results as originally planned.
Weekend schedule changes: The original event schedule of GS on Saturday followed by SL on Sunday was swapped to run SL on Saturday in order to have the best conditions for the respective disciplines following the Thu/Fri snowfall.
SL results correction: The A/B SL results were initially posted on Saturday evening with an arror in M07. Corrected results and combined rankings were posted Sunday to record DSQ for V. Roy.
The Western Region class championship is awarded to the racer in each age class who accumulates the most world cup points in the three events of the regional championships.
Total number of competitors: 146 (113 men, 33 women)
